CHRISTIAN GROUPS WELCOMING TRANS-PEOPLE
A number of members of Manchester Concord attend the Communion services detailed below so any Concord member who decides to go along is likely to find familiar faces to welcome them. Indeed the two organists who share the playing duties are both members of Concord and there often several other trans-people attending.
Services are normally held on the first Saturday of every month at 5:30 pm and follow a style very similar to that found in "middle of the road" Anglican parishes everywhere. The host parish of St Chrysostom is a welcoming inclusive place and these services are supported by the Bishop of Manchester's Advisory Group on Sexuality and by the diocese as a whole. The church is at 4A Anson Road, Victoria Park, Manchester, M14 5BG.

and that shows any minor variations to the normal pattern of services
and also has a contact button to reach Ian Gomersall, the parish
priest.

L.i.P.S. – Lets in-joy a Party this Saturday T-girl Event This is a new monthly t-girl event in Leeds – to be held on the 3rd Saturday each month. Now 14 months old. L.i.P.S. - was again a BIG success in May 2011 with more than 30 T-girls admirers and friends attending everyone had a brill time !! - We also had quite a few girls and admirers making their "debuts" so make sure you go to the June event !! This is a Brilliant Event - with a really special friendly atmosphere. L.I.P.S. is a social event for T-girls, admiriers, partners, friends infact , its for anyone who likes and enjoys a good night out with a set of "cool" friendly like minded people !! The venues are The Cosmopolitian Hotel (for a pre-event drink in the bar) Blayds Yard (off Lower Briggate) The Call Lane Social Club (Call Lane )and THE LOFT – (above Queens Court on Lower Briggate Leeds) Blayds Yard and the Queens Court are located right the middle of the gay area (Pink Triangle) in Leeds town centre . There are many Trans friendly bars and clubs located very close by. Start at the Cosmo Hotel for Pre-event drinkies then go to - Blayds Yard for about 9.30-10.00 pm (ish) then move on to the LOFT (above Queens Court) Blayds Yard - is a very friendly quirky kind of Bar - in a very discreet location down a cobbled alleyway - its very trans friendly and the owners Duncan and Robert will make sure that everyone is made to feel very welcome. The Loft (above Queens Court) offers the following facilities: 1. Huge air conditioned area with Disco floor + podiums and dancing poles + huge bar area + seating area ........ and LOTS of Mirrors !!! 2. TVfriendly with a great atmosphere 3. Free entry – no cover charge 4. Reduced priced drinks - £2.50 all night (in the LOFT) 5. Free street parking (in Leeds Street parking is from 6.00 pm on Saturday until 8.00 am on Monday morning) 6. There is also parking available at the nearby NCP car park on Boar Lane (entrance on Swinegate) and street parking in Leeds is free from 6.00pm onwards 7. Local Hotel Discounts So come along meet people - make new friends and enjoy yourselves . The event usually starts at about 9.30 - 10.00 pm and afterwards many of the girls go off to many of the other of the close by “watering holes” such as Fibre, the Viaduct, Blayds, the Bridge.and the New Penny. (This is a Social Event and is a meeting place for T-girls + their partners + Admirers and friends - it is TOTALLY FREE and non-moneymaking Event). LEEDS FIRST FRIDAY EVENT Leeds First Friday in the Month – T-girl Event Yes after a break for Christmas and the New Year ......... Its
Back !!!! This is now probably the biggest monthly T-Girl night out North of the River Trent. This Event was once again a HUGE success in December - with 70-80 Girls + Partners, Admirers and friends’ attenting from all over the UK. The venue is BLAYDS YARD. Blayds Yard is located in the centre of the gay area (Pink Triangle) on Lower Briggate in Leeds. There are many Trans friendly bars and clubs located very close by. The new venue offers the following facilities: • Discreet location – just off Lower Briggate about 100 metres
below the Viaduct Show bar. So come along meet people - make new friends and enjoy yourselves The event usually starts at about 9.00 pm and afterwards many of the girls go off to many of the other “watering holes” such as Fibre, the Viaduct, Queens Court, the Bridge, Xibit, and the New Penny. The Event continues to go from strength to strength - so here is a BIG Thank You to everyone who supports LFF and also to those who promote the event here on Chix.
