Just wanted to let everyone know about this event, at the Ramada Jarvis hotel, I went along on Thursday night with my partner Ann, this came about from the dance club that we go to who were sponsoring an award. It was a really glamourous night, and it made me think that perhaps Manchester Concord might want to look at attending next year, or perhaps sponsoring an award, tickets were £25 this included entrance and a 3 Course Meal and entertainment. It really was a great opportunity for girls to glam up in wonderful surroundings, the meal was OK, nothing to write home about, and If I am honest I would say I have eaten much better at the restaurants on Canal Street, I am sure Paula had she been there would have given a much more descriptive critique.
So my plan is to announce this event next year when I get details, I hope there will be lots of members who might like to come along. Tables are set for 10 people although only 5 attended from our group so we shared with 5 others from a jogging group ( no I wasnt inspired to put on my trainers). Notably there were oter T girls there who I recognised from the street, but I did not know their names.

That sounds a great idea Hazel. I didn't even know about this award dinner. This year we should try to enter a team into at least one of the sports involved. How about Volley ball as we managed to win that last year at Sparkle.

Hi Mary, HI Astrid.
I have just had alook at my tickets and there is a web site http://www.pridesports.org maybe its worth a look. Are there any member out there involved in sports? it would be interesting to know, I think the awards were for ongoing regular week in week out activity, so I think we might need to consider this. I look forward to sitting with you both next year I hope.
Hazel XX.
